Victorino Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Lino Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Rico in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Rico in the 31st minute of play forced Ciénaga's goalkeeper Manuel Cebrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Esdras charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Esdras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haroldo Esdras hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Lino Etor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anfilogino Colella was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Etor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Ciénaga got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Paz. In the 63rd minute, Lino Etor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Colella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 75th minute Tomás Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Colella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ayiu!!'s Akil İspinoz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Anfilogino Colella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Ebardo in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Ebardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anfilogino Colella. That made the score 0-3 in the 88 minute of play.
