The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Guillelme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Deportivo ESyR's David Guillelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Karlo in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Rolando Vargas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Guillelme. The goal made the score 4-1. Deportivo ESyR's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Bikendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Salvadore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cochangasta AFC's zone, Geronimo Hodei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Salvadore came out of the goal and Geronimo Hodei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Deportivo ESyR's Freddy Lico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Salvadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo ESyR had played much better football throughout.
