Norberto Velasco started the match with the kick off. Rene Favila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Veronica in the 7th minute of the match. Victor Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Favila having to interfere. Nestor Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Favila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Franco made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ricardo Azeari sent off a good shot on target. Saverio Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Tallia in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Gervasio Admon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Veronica in the 27th minute of play forced Bremen's goalkeeper Rene Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Txindoki in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Txindoki in the 39th minute of play forced Gowlan's goalkeeper Saverio Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Victor Veronica came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Gowlan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Veronica couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Bremen got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Txindoki. Saverio Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Tallia in the 60th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Bremen got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Tallia. Dalmacio Txindoki's late challenge caught a Gowlan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Txindoki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gowlan booed when Bremen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bremen's Rene Favila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bremen from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Bremen's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Venerando came free, but Rene Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Admon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Favila having to interfere. Gowlan's Baldomiro Bidun was substituted for Victor Veronica. In the 88th minute, Bremen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gervasio Admon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 92nd minute Humberto Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Tomás Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
