With a little luck, Azulgrana FC's Evelio Lidon got control of the ball when Bernardino Erramun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Jerico struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fabio Tebaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azulgrana FC. After some careless play in the Azulgrana FC defense, Bernardino Erramun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Lidon. The Azulgrana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Lidon should have stopped the shot. If Omar Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ticucho's Ruben Tolino got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fabio Tebaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Tebaldo having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Tobias Jerico notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ticucho's Fabio Tebaldo. Fabio Tebaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Harkaitz in the 35th minute of play forced Ticucho's goalkeeper Fabio Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tobias Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Azulgrana FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tobias Jerico, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ticucho's Fabio Tebaldo. 1-2. In the 45th minute, Tobias Jerico made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Tebaldo. Ticucho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes Azulgrana FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bermudo. Evelio Lidon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Tolino went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ticucho's Fabio Tebaldo got control of the ball when Tobias Jerico tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Omar Harkaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Tebaldo. That made the score 2-4 in the 62 minute of play. The supporters of Azulgrana FC booed when Ticucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Llin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Tolino in the 67th minute of the match. Diego Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Jaime Abaurre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Lidon skillfully saved the ball. If Tobias Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A well placed Omar Harkaitz short distance shot in the 74th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 77 minutes into the match, Azulgrana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Erramun came free, but Evelio Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Dionisio Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Azulgrana FC's Omar Harkaitz in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ticucho's goalie prevented a goal. Evelio Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Azulgrana FC booed when Ticucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Tebaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Harkaitz in the 97th minute of the match. The Azulgrana FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Azulgrana FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
