Guaranì Antonio Franco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cordoba.Atletick the free kick. A collision led to Guaranì Antonio Franco getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fausto Cordarryl hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Laureano Ubarna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Leon Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Guaranì Antonio Franco's Melchor Berbiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Lekubegi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Laureano Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Erdiano was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Everardo Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Lekubegi having to interfere. Filomeno Bastia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Lekubegi having to make a save. Everardo Ramond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Laureano Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristo Erdiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Rudolfo in the 79th minute of play. Adriana Jusepe's late challenge caught a Guaranì Antonio Franco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriana Jusepe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cordoba.Atletick's Adriana Jusepe got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 93 played minutes Guaranì Antonio Franco got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lehen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Ubarna in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Erdiano saved Guaranì Antonio Franco from getting behind. Guaranì Antonio Franco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
