Ivan Geofredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Toribio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Corleone FC's Cristo Toribio in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Battle Royale's goalie prevented a goal. Cristo Toribio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Geofredo having to make a save. After 25 played minutes Battle Royale got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Felipillo. The supporters of Battle Royale booed when Corleone FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, Corleone FC's Alfredo Romano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Geofredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corleone FC reached it. In the 37th minute of the match Alfredo Romano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Geofredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonides Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Benjamin Loren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Battle Royale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corleone FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Battle Royale:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corleone FC:s goal. After the first half Corleone FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Vistruario was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Geofredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodrigo Horado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Leonides Tiniebra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Battle Royale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corleone FC the free kick. Ivan Geofredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Toribio's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Prudencio Eudoxio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tadeo Inge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Battle Royale. Ivan Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Rodrigo Horado made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Geofredo. Battle Royale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Rodrigo Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Horado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Corleone FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Battle Royale's zone, Rodrigo Horado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Geofredo came out of the goal and Rodrigo Horado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
