In the 14th minute, Filomeno Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ivan Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Ivan Geofredo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Geofredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Loosen in the 36th minute. Ivan Geofredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Chap went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A hard shot by Filomeno Bernaldo from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Ivan Geofredo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 45th match minute, Battle Royale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Vistruario to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Filomeno Bernaldo in the 47th minute really tested Ivan Geofredo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Vistruario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
