Luis Giraldo's late challenge caught a Betelgeuse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Giraldo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Betelgeuse FC booed when 23 de Junio F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Gergori scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Servando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, 23 de Junio F.C's goalkeeper Conrado Servando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Gergori. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Munio in the 13th minute of play forced 23 de Junio F.C's goalkeeper Conrado Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Herensuge in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Rui Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fermin Munio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Servando. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. During the 30th minute of the match Luis Giraldo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luis Giraldo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 31st match minute, 23 de Junio F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Betelgeuse FC's Santiago Paul shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Conrado Servando but with some difficulty. 32 minutes into the game, Eugenio Aguilera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 23 de Junio F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Betelgeuse FC the free kick. The supporters of Betelgeuse FC booed when 23 de Junio F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Aguilera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Servando made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Norberto Gergori sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Gergori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Conrado Servando made a huge save. In the 39th minute Tobias Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, 23 de Junio F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Herensuge came free, but Conrado Servando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Tobias Herensuge took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Conrado Servando to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rui Marques made the kick off in the second half. Generoso Toro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Conrado Servando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Gergori in the 57th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Betelgeuse FC's Norberto Gergori made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Servando was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 de Junio F.C's Conrado Servando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Munio in the 62nd minute of play. Conrado Servando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Herensuge in the 64th minute of the match. Conrado Servando came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Betelgeuse FC's Santiago Paul. But to his dismay, Santiago Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 83rd minute Tobias Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Servando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the 23 de Junio F.C defense, Norberto Gergori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Servando. The 23 de Junio F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Servando should have stopped the shot. Betelgeuse FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
