Baltasar Suero was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Mundo Galdamez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mundo Galdamez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Mundo Galdamez put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Suero. When Julio Nazario came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Quilino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Nazario couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Prejun in the 72nd minute of play forced Lanus Pela's goalkeeper Evaristo Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mundo Galdamez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lanus Pela's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
