The wind increased when Gervasio Vellito made the kick off in the second half. Igor Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Ilazki in the 53rd minute of play. Silvestre Toribio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Ameghino got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Ilazki. In the 60thth minute of the game Gervasio Vellito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ameghino's Arnoldo Enol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Claudio Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ameghino's Claudio Irrintzi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ameghino's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
