Maximo Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Gabirel's late challenge caught a Resbalito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Gabirel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carapaligüe FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Augusto Gabirel hit a great ball. Maximo Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Augusto Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapaligüe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Gabirel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Resbalito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Resbalito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Lesardo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Serafino Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resbalito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carapaligüe FC's Jeremias Mark got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resbalito AFC's Maximo Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Mark in the 84th minute of play. Carapaligüe FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 89th minute, Ovidio Rutenio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carapaligüe FC booed when Resbalito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Ixaka during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carapaligüe FC booed when Resbalito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Resbalito AFC's zone, Gualterio Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Guillelmus came out of the goal and Gualterio Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carapaligüe FC played a much better game than Resbalito AFC and deserved their victory. The Resbalito AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
