Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jeremias Mark started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Erubiel Bortzaioriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Quiroga was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Bogumil Naskrent kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Wilfredo Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Quiroga having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Erubiel Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes L.P's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Bortzaioriz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Quiroga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Ferman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Quiroga having to make a save. After 15 minutes of play, Estudiantes L.P's Wilfredo Ferman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dionisio Quiroga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dionisio Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Ferman in the 20th minute of the match. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carapaligüe FC booed when Estudiantes L.P was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Villarias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeremias Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Mark struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Filiberto Buinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carapaligüe FC. After some careless play in the Estudiantes L.P defense, Jeremias Mark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Buinton. The Estudiantes L.P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Buinton should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erubiel Bortzaioriz to make the kick off. Wilfredo Ferman's late challenge caught a Carapaligüe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfredo Ferman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Wilfredo Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Gabirel in the 57th minute of play forced Estudiantes L.P's goalkeeper Filiberto Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Erubiel Bortzaioriz rounded Carapaligüe FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After having played for 64 minutes, Javier Villarias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes L.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Villarias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Bortzaioriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dionisio Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estudiantes L.P's Erubiel Bortzaioriz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erubiel Bortzaioriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Quiroga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Bortzaioriz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Estudiantes L.P's Bogumil Naskrent dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 84 played minutes, Estudiantes L.P's Salvador Quentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dionisio Quiroga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes L.P reached it. With an all-out effort, Estudiantes L.P's Dionisio Quiroga threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erubiel Bortzaioriz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jeremias Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Filiberto Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estudiantes L.P's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
