They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Kemen made a kick off. In the 69th minute, Industrial's Jeremias Ariando seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jeremias Ariando the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Industrial protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jeremias Ariando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
