When Comercial Caseros's Erasmo Oton in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuchilla FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Pedro Luís de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Blai in the 20th minute of play forced Comercial Caseros's goalkeeper Alfredo Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luís de Amaral took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Quentin. Fernan Quentin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Comercial Caseros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cuchilla FC:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Cuchilla FC. Tomas Rivero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Lain. 1-2. Pedro Luís de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Quentin having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Horacio Ederono notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Cuchilla FC's Fernan Quentin. Fernan Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Bilbo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Lain when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Cuchilla FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Octavio Bilbo hit a great ball. Comercial Caseros's Alfredo Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Blai in the 46th minute of play. Octavio Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Bilbo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Comercial Caseros booed when Cuchilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Lucian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Etxahun kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jacobo Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Lain having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Comercial Caseros! In the 75th match minute, Cuchilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Valiente to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Comercial Caseros's zone, Octavio Bilbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Lain came out of the goal and Octavio Bilbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cuchilla FC's Fernan Quentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cuchilla FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute of the game Augusto Endira made a throw-in which Hernan Regis played forward. 95 minutes into the match, Jacobo Blai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Lain. Comercial Caseros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Blai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. 99 minutes into the match, Comercial Caseros's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Blai came free, but Alfredo Lain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuchilla FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Comercial Caseros for a fine match.
