The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Aurken got free with Tadeo Larra in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Lázaro Niva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Fabricio Ricart was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
