Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Isaio started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Anderson AFC's Evaristo Baumar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Fliz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Isaio in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sergio Gonzales, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Deportivo Castelar's Arsenio Primeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Sergio Gonzales managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Deportivo Castelar's Marcelo Isaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sergio Gonzales came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Castelar's Marcelo Isaio. But to his dismay, Marcelo Isaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julio Paskal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Fliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, one of Deportivo Castelar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Castelar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anderson AFC's goalkeeper Sergio Gonzales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Anderson AFC booed when Deportivo Castelar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Anderson AFC's Natalio Erlantz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Deportivo Castelar's Marcelo Isaio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Fliz having to interfere. Julio Paskal struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Leopoldo Fliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anderson AFC. The supporters of Anderson AFC booed when Deportivo Castelar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Ryback didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Gonzales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Valentino's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 64th minute, Julio Paskal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Fliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Leopoldo Fliz made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Julio Paskal sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio Paskal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Fliz. That made the score 1-4 in the 74 minute of play. When Natalio Erlantz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderson AFC's protests and gave Natalio Erlantz a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Erlantz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Valentino in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Gonzales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Ortzi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Anderson AFC's Julio Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Evaristo Baumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Deportivo Castelar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anderson AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Anderson AFC.
