The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Figueroa during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Codruț Cândreanu, was totally fooled by Marcos paz FC's Ramiro Lluterio, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Rocendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inocencio Blai was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Adrian Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot. A dos toques's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Aragones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Blai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Lluterio charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Lluterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Azpilcueta was the one to do the kick off. Inocencio Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Rocendo in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Rocendo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Blai saved Marcos paz FC from getting behind. A dos toques's Codruț Cândreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Manex in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to A dos toques getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nereo Llanos hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, A dos toques's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Lluterio came free, but Codruț Cândreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Ceandro got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ovidio Manex. Codruț Cândreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Reyes in the 79th minute of play. A dos toques's Codruț Cândreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Manex in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, A dos toques's Nereo Llanos got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Marcos paz FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dionisio Urre hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Gregorio Porfiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Blai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victorino Azpilcueta's late challenge caught a A dos toques's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Azpilcueta helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Marcos paz FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Azpilcueta. When Abelardo Vitin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Marcos paz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Vitin couldn't finish the play. When the match was over A dos toques could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marcos paz FC throughout the match.
