The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Estebe got free with Jeronimo Marques in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ongile in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curupayti's goalkeeper Omar Rey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Angel Erlantz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeronimo Marques, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Paikín AFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Estebe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Bordat in the 29th minute of play forced Paikín AFC's goalkeeper Jeronimo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Angel Erlantz lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jeronimo Marques. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Ongile in the 34th minute of play forced Curupayti's goalkeeper Omar Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Cornelio Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Omar Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Ongile in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Rey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Curupayti getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edgard Bordat hit a great ball. Edgard Bordat hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When Everardo Leocadio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Paikín AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Leocadio couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Ongile might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Rey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Ongile ran back to his position shaking his head. Braulio Patxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes, Damian Estebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curupayti and the Paikín AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Curupayti got a freekick which was hit by Damian Estebe. Omar Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes, Fidel Jakes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curupayti and the Paikín AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fidel Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Braulio Patxi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Rey, 4-1. The supporters of Paikín AFC booed when Curupayti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Jakes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Angel Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Paikín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Bordat came free, but Jeronimo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Erlantz in the 95th minute of the match. Curupayti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
