The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Ostots got free with Arnoldo Romelio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Nuxila hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Herminio Ostots came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Chachapoyas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Ostots couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Anacleto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Arnoldo Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodosio Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Gaitans short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Arnoldo Romelio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Benino was the one to do the kick off. Arnoldo Romelio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chachapoyas AFC's Samuel Gaitan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Elivareo in the 71st minute of play forced Invalid Name's goalkeeper Arnoldo Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Francisco Elivareo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Invalid Name's Arnoldo Romelio. Arnoldo Romelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 minutes, Claudio Montrel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invalid Name and the Chachapoyas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
