Nabucodonosor L'Hostis might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Nesto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nabucodonosor L'Hostis ran back to his position shaking his head. Punta y Garrón's Americo Nesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Punta y Garrón from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Augusto Feo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 邵德夕 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Americo Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionísio Brasil in the 55th minute of the match. Erasmo Breogan's late challenge caught a Punta y Garrón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Breogan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Atletico Golondrinas Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Breogan to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Emeterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Nel went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Francisco Nel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Orlo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Nesto saved Punta y Garrón from getting behind. Francisco Nel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Emeterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Venancio Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atletico Golondrinas Fc players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
