Isidro Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Mota in the 19th minute of play forced Philipps's goalkeeper Paulino Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Astor Sesuldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Ariel Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emílio Mota scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lizbeth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesar Haimar hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Demario in the 31st minute of play forced Philipps's goalkeeper Paulino Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Freitas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Zeledon Macario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Philipps. Paulino Lizbeth came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria FC's Ariel Demario. But to his dismay, Ariel Demario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eustaquio Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Lizbeth having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Victoria FC's Ariel Demario made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Lizbeth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emílio Mota made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Henrique Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Paulino Lizbeth managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Victoria FC's Emílio Mota fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulino Lizbeth was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Ariel Demario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Demario really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Philipps's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ariel Demario scored to the left of an out of position Paulino Lizbeth, making the score, 0-5. Paulino Lizbeth stood somewhat misplaced when Emílio Mota came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 74 minute. 78 minutes into the match, Victoria FC's Emílio Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Lizbeth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philipps's Paulino Lizbeth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Philipps from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, Emílio Mota recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Lizbeth. Emílio Mota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Victoria FC's Cleto Restu was substituted for Isidro Gorosti. Victoria FC made a substitution. Tomás Ganix replaced Emílio Mota. Paulino Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Demario in the 94th minute of the match. Victoria FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
