The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Makomaski in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Ritchie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Hats in the 23rd minute of play forced Guaraní AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Nemesio Txilar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Ritchie skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Pancho during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardo Ritchie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedykt Makomaski's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Siro Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedykt Makomaski to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Ewout Wiechgers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palavicini FC and the Guaraní AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Palavicini FC got a freekick which was hit by Ewout Wiechgers. 59 minutes into the match, Palavicini FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Gartxot came free, but Teofilo Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palavicini FC's Ewout Wiechgers got a free kick in the 76th minute. Rigoberto Favila's late challenge caught a Palavicini FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Favila helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Guaraní AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Favila to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Lope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Teofilo Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Pudes in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Guaraní AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bonifacio Naelio hit a great ball. Palavicini FC's Benedykt Makomaski got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
