Hugo Bartolome might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Baristo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chapaleofú FC's Haroldo Medero got control of the ball when Timoteo Mederi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chapaleofú FC's zone, Ambrosio Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Medero came out of the goal and Ambrosio Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timoteo Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Rivas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Haroldo Medero, 2-0. Haroldo Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Cornelio Eutor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapaleofú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ledvancee the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Pedroso made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in ledvancee fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The supporters of Chapaleofú FC booed when ledvancee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Baristo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ruben Rosalio. After having played for 58 minutes, Timoteo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ledvancee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
