Paolo Chinto started the match with the kick off. Paolo Chinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. pupu fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Esteve Romelio scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Senio, making the score, 1-0. Erubiel Orkatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nereo Jakes went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute Paolo Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giant Killing's Erubiel Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Jakes in the 15th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Giant Killing's Leonardo Senio threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aureliano Chap, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erubiel Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Giant Killing:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of pupu fc:s goal. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for pupu fc. Nereo Jakes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erubiel Orkatz. 1-2. Paolo Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Erubiel Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, pupu fc's Benjamin Garoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Orkatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Jakes in the 34th minute of play forced Giant Killing's goalkeeper Erubiel Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Chinto took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Orkatz. Erubiel Orkatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half pupu fc were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Romelio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Garoa in the 51st minute of play forced Giant Killing's goalkeeper Erubiel Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Garoa scored 1-5 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Orkatz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Esteve Romelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giant Killing's Erubiel Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Chinto in the 69th minute of play. Erubiel Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Giant Killing's Aureliano Chap got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Paolo Chinto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Orkatz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. pupu fc's Leonardo Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Poncio in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Giant Killing's Esteve Romelio made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Senio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Tello in the 88th minute of play forced Giant Killing's goalkeeper Erubiel Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin Garoa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Orkatz. That made the score 2-6 in the 90 minute of play. Albano Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Erubiel Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Atauri's late challenge caught a Giant Killing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Atauri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Teodoro Atauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes, Giant Killing's Esteban Dino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonardo Senio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Giant Killing reached it. The Giant Killing supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching pupu fc's performance. The match ended with a win for pupu fc.
