Rene Pepillo charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 6th minute, pupu fc's Nereo Jakes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iacob Barna. Iacob Barna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Albano Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Iacob Barna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Douglas Haig's Prospero Rivero in 14 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Leonardo Senio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Iacob Barna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Jakes in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as pupu fc's Paolo Chinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iacob Barna. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Iacob Barna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Chinto in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Tello in the 31st minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Iacob Barna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Prospero Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Douglas Haig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Rivero couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Nereo Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Douglas Haig defense, Benjamin Garoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Barna. The Douglas Haig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Barna should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Douglas Haig's Iacob Barna got control of the ball when Paolo Chinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Paolo Chinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iacob Barna. That made the score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Benjamin Garoa made a precise shot to the right of Iacob Barna. Douglas Haig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 58 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Garoa came free, but Iacob Barna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Nereo Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Barna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Tiadoro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, pupu fc's Paolo Chinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iacob Barna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Rene Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Douglas Haig defense, Nereo Jakes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iacob Barna. The Douglas Haig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iacob Barna should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Nereo Jakes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iacob Barna was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 85 minutes into the game, Nereo Jakes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Iacob Barna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 95 played minutes pupu fc got a freekick which was hit by Celso Montae. pupu fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
