Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ulises Telesforo made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Sunchu's Melchor Etxatxu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. ClubAtleticoRiverGold's Alvaro Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Sindo in the 11th minute of play. Emiliano Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Telesforo in the 19th minute of play. ClubAtleticoRiverGold's Erubiel Arnas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Egoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Arnas went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Sindo in the 31st minute of play forced ClubAtleticoRiverGold's goalkeeper Alvaro Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunchu's goalkeeper Emiliano Egoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Erubiel Arnas came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ClubAtleticoRiverGold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Arnas couldn't finish the play. Sunchu's Emiliano Egoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Sunchu from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, ClubAtleticoRiverGold's Israel Frechoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Egoitz. Emiliano Egoitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Senen was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Sunchu got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Erlantz. 55 minutes into the match, ClubAtleticoRiverGold's Justo Leheren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Emiliano Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Telesforo in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sunchu's Melchor Etxatxu got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 64 minutes, Erubiel Arnas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sunchu's Emiliano Egoitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Egoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Arnas's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Pascual Sindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Leoiar. ClubAtleticoRiverGold's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Sindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alvaro Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Senen in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Gabriel Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Erubiel Arnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Egoitz was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Erubiel Arnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Egoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erubiel Arnas in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Egoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Ulises Telesforo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Egoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sunchu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ClubAtleticoRiverGold.
