Miguel Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Flores in the 19th minute of play. Mauricio Viviano came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.I's Anders Holm. But to his dismay, Anders Holm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, Valdemar Kotrla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.I fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mauricio Viviano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Kotrla's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Rene Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Kotrla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The wind increased when Valdemar Kotrla made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Shantala came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Landeta's Ezequiel Frantzes. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Frantzes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 62 minutes into the game, Landeta's Ciro Manilan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Mauricio Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Kotrla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Celedonio Havier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Landeta's zone, Agustin Lorien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Viviano came out of the goal and Agustin Lorien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Shantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Vincente went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdemar Kotrla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauricio Viviano. That made the score 3-7 in the 80 minute of play. A collision led to Landeta getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ciro Manilan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Lorien in the 90th minute of play forced Landeta's goalkeeper Mauricio Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Lorien in the 94th minute of play. C.A.I's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
