The supporters of Campanas FC booed when Liniers de Bahía Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liniers de Bahía Blanca were furious when Astor Nardo was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 45 minutes into the game, one of Liniers de Bahía Blanca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
