Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tucumana's Sebastian Machado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Filiberto Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute Filiberto Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Sebastian Machado made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Vimaro. Campanas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 9 played minutes Tucumana got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Gonchan. In the 12th minute, Sebastian Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tucumana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Campanas FC's Froilan Eguen in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Tucumana's Candido Naldo got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Tucumana's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Ishmael came free, but Isaias Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Aristides Paez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campanas FC and the Tucumana players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tucumana booed when Campanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Machado in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Sungurbey Nurullah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filiberto Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Ishmael in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Paez to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tucumana getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ernesto Seber hit a great ball. Filiberto Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Isaias Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Hermengildo Gonchan made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Vimaro. Campanas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 87th minute Sebastian Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Aristides Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Machado scored 5-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Vimaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tucumana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
