Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Bandera started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Huergo booed when Resistencia City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Bandera might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Orlanda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Bandera ran back to his position shaking his head. Huergo were furious when Elmar Vrede was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 9 played minutes Huergo got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Vrede. When Jairo Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Resistencia City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Arnau couldn't finish the play. Elpidio Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sigmunds Klaciņš's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Orlanda was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Vicente Bandera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resistencia City and the Huergo players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Huergo's Gaston Mincho threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Serafin Etxepare, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Huergo's Serafin Etxepare in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Resistencia City's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Bandera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Orlanda having to interfere. A collision led to Resistencia City getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Abel Richie hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Vicente Bandera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Orlanda. Huergo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Bandera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Huergo's Baldomero Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigmunds Klaciņš in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Etxepare to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Richie in the 56th minute of play forced Huergo's goalkeeper Baldomero Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes Resistencia City got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Bandera. In the 61st minute, Serafin Etxepare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Resistencia City's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Etxepare came free, but Gaston Mincho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Huergo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Resistencia City:s goal. Huergo's Baldomero Orlanda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Huergo from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Vicente Bandera sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Vicente Bandera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Orlanda. Huergo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Bandera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Baldomero Orlanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute of the match Resistencia City got a corner. Huergo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Arnau ran over to the corner to take the kick. Resistencia City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
