The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Albino Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Osasun having to interfere. If Salvador Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Aires in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Osasun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Esquipula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Mannie in the 15th minute. Gerardo Erramu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Zdeno Omasta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Chap in the 23rd minute of play forced Pucci FC's goalkeeper Severiano Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Montay hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Conrado Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Casla Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Casla Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Corel came free, but Conrado Esquipula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casla Futbol Club's Conrado Esquipula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Casla Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Severiano Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ascencio Corel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Casla Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Montay. Casla Futbol Club's Conrado Esquipula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ascencio Corel in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Aires in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Casla Futbol Club's Conrado Esquipula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Mannie in the 67th minute of play. Conrado Esquipula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ascencio Corel went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Conrado Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Asteri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pucci FC made a substitution. Omar Segio replaced Hilario Mannie. After taking down the ball on Pucci FC's corner Ramiro Asteri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Conrado Esquipula quite easily take care of the ball. Conrado Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Corel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Segio in the 86th minute of play forced Casla Futbol Club's goalkeeper Conrado Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dani Del Piero took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Esquipula. Conrado Esquipula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ascencio Corel put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Conrado Esquipula. Casla Futbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
