Villa Alvear Chaco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Cipriano Prejun scored to the left of an out of position Santos Cilio, making the score, 1-0. Santos Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Gutxi in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Federigo to maneuver through the defense. Santos Cilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Gutxi in the 11th minute. German Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, German Otsoko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Ramirez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Platense's zone, German Otsoko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Ramirez came out of the goal and German Otsoko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Flavio Lia fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's protests and gave Flavio Lia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rio Platense booed when C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Cipriano Prejun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Platense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. German Otsoko scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Americo Ramirez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's Santos Cilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco from getting a goal against them. Santos Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Kismi in the 40th minute of play. German Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Rio Platense got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Gaueko. In the 44th minute, German Otsoko made a precise shot to the right of Americo Ramirez. Rio Platense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Gutxi made a kick off. C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's Santos Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Kismi in the 52nd minute of play. Amador Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Cilio having to interfere. Santos Cilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Gutxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Cipriano Prejun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Cilio. C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Prejun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Prejun in the 64th minute of play forced C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's goalkeeper Santos Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Ramirez having to interfere. Santos Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's German Otsoko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. After a rather tough play, C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's Samuca Palmeira got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Rodolfo Gutxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Cilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Cipriano Prejun took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Cilio. Santos Cilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-5. In the 93rd minute, Cipriano Prejun made a precise shot to the right of Santos Cilio. C.A. Villa Alvear Chaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-5. When the referee ended the match the Rio Platense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
