Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Denis Lorien took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Lino Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A Newcastle's Mariano Rey took a good shot, in the 4th minute, which hit the crossbar above Lisandro Gau's head, and flew over the goal. Los Pitufos FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by C.A Newcastle. Ezequiel Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Lisandro Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Mambru in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Lino Baristo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Pitufos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Newcastle the free kick. 20 minutes into the match, C.A Newcastle's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Oxarra came free, but Lázaro Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Justino Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, C.A Newcastle's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Oxarra came free, but Lázaro Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Taurino scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Geofredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Los Pitufos FC's Ezequiel Oxarra got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lisandro Gau was a little too slow when Justino Mambru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. Lisandro Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Emilio Etxeberri lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Lisandro Gau. C.A Newcastle's Lázaro Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Taurino in the 42nd minute of play. Los Pitufos FC's Lisandro Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Los Pitufos FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Mambru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the C.A Newcastle defense, Denis Lorien kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Geofredo. The C.A Newcastle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Geofredo should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Alejo Taurino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lázaro Geofredo, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Etxeberri in the 61st minute of play forced Los Pitufos FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Chayo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lisandro Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Geofredo was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Denis Lorien capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Denis Lorien really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The tension between the Los Pitufos FC and the C.A Newcastle players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, Los Pitufos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Mambru came free, but Lisandro Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lisandro Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Gau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Etxeberri went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Emilio Etxeberri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Newcastle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. C.A Newcastle were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Pitufos FC for a fine match.
