Nunez Cuartio replaced Epifanio Senin. The Poetas del Cesped players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. huapachingui were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Anibal Francis made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the huapachingui defense, Daniel Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Donzel. The huapachingui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Donzel should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Donzel came out of the goal and Daniel Piearres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Daniel Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetas del Cesped's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Donzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
