The Palermo Luminus fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Palermo Luminus's Szilárd Jakab looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Anastasio Otoniel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Serafin Corderall. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szilárd Jakab in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Nuñez saved Calmayo AFC from getting behind. When Palermo Luminus's Szilárd Jakab in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calmayo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Bernardino Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Calmayo AFC booed when Palermo Luminus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Valery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Tirso made a kick off. Urbano Jakes hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Calmayo AFC's Norbert Pankowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Otoniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo Luminus's goalkeeper Anastasio Otoniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardino Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hortêncio Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Szilárd Jakab made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Calmayo AFC's Serafino Nuñez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Palermo Luminus's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
