The supporters of Nío booed when Grünbein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Etxeberri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nío played a much better game than Grünbein and deserved their victory. The Grünbein players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
