Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Leopoldo Paez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Desiderio Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Ikatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Justino Tabb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anchorena's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Tabb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Loren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Humberto Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Anchorena booed when Atlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Pelagius in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Loren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Segundo Pelagius put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Loren. When Justino Tabb came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Anchorena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Tabb couldn't finish the play. After having played for 28 minutes, Segundo Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gabriel Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Ikatz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Loren having to make a save. When Maximo Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anchorena's protests and gave Maximo Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlas booed when Anchorena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Panpili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Maximo Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Anchorena booed when Atlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anchorena's Maximo Panpili got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Anchorena were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Segundo Pelagius fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Desiderio Loren, passed just outside the right post. Maximo Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Loren came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Anchorena's Segundo Pelagius. But to his dismay, Segundo Pelagius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Atlas's Leopoldo Paez got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Pelagius in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 63rd minute, Maximo Panpili ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Loren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Justino Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Justino Tabb notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Atlas's Desiderio Loren. Desiderio Loren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Segundo Pelagius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Loren was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Segundo Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maximo Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play Atlas's Joaquin Obano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Atlas's Joaquin Obano got a free kick in the 81st minute. Cristo Norino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Anchorena's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Humberto Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Loren having to interfere. If Justino Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Anchorena's Segundo Pelagius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximo Panpili might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Loren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Panpili ran back to his position shaking his head. Segundo Pelagius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Desiderio Loren made a huge save. Anchorena's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
