Melquiades Dodorol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berros FC. Rene Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Cordearo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Cordearo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Berros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Cordearo to maneuver through the defense. If Teodoro Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Rene Tanio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Rene Tanio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berros FC's Enrique Nafarroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgilio Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Laurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Virgilio Erauso came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cacheuta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Erauso couldn't finish the play. Enrique Nafarroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Erauso in the 39th minute. When Virgilio Erauso came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cacheuta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Erauso couldn't finish the play. Rene Tanio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Nafarroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Tanio ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Erauso got free with Enrique Nafarroa in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Teodoro Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Melquiades Dodorol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Berros FC's Teodoro Alonso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Rene Tanio's late challenge caught a Berros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Tanio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Cacheuta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Tanio to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Teodoro Alonso lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Melquiades Dodorol. After 64 played minutes Cacheuta got a freekick which was hit by Damian Kepa. The long shot by Pedro Ralondo in the 65th minute really tested Melquiades Dodorol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Feliciano Mannuel hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Virgilio Erauso came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cacheuta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Erauso couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Rene Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Berros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Berros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
