Americo Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Batista in the 12th minute of the match. Mauricio Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gilberto Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Hanni struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gilberto Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franco-Canadiense. Gilberto Gaitan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Franco-Canadiense's Mauricio Hanni shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilberto Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to piston getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. David Fresco hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Mauricio Hanni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but piston's Gilberto Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Rencio having to interfere. Arnoldo Chano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Franco-Canadiense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
