Benicio Bizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Piearres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benicio Bizi ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Fiambalá's goalkeeper Angelo Piearres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Bizi. In the 11th minute, Benicio Bizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bowen's Eleuterio Blasi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Bonadona in the 20th minute of play forced Bowen's goalkeeper Celestino Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Piearres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Iaki in the 21st minute. In the 23rd play minute Benicio Bizi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Angelo Piearres. 1-0. Benicio Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Emilio Rivas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Macario. Bowen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Rivas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Rivas in the 32nd minute of play forced Bowen's goalkeeper Celestino Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match, Benicio Bizi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Piearres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 47th minute, Martin Gaxan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Bizi to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Montrell scored 3-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Macario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 56 played minutes Fiambalá got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Montrell. The tension between the Bowen and the Fiambalá players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celestino Macario made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Martin Gaxan sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Blasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Piearres was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Angelo Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Bizi in the 74th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Arnulfo Espiridion put in a rough tackle. Vladimiro Bordat walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Edgardo Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Angelo Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Benicio Bizi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Piearres. Fiambalá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Bizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bowen had played much better football throughout.
