An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Berto in the 5th minute of play forced Bowen's goalkeeper Celestino Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benedicto Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bowen's protests and gave Benedicto Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bowen's Benedicto Bermudez got a free kick in the 6th minute. Benicio Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cecilio Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Abajas's late challenge caught a Bowen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquin Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cecilio Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bowen getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eustaquio Dimas hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Eleuterio Blasi suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Ricardo Bartoli charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Bartoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bowen's Higinio Jaunzuria was substituted for Eleuterio Blasi. In the 18th minute, Ricardo Bartoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Ksawery Paciuszko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Celestino Macario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cecilio Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Jaunzuria in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Bowen's Benicio Bizi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecilio Lorien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Bowen getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arnulfo Espiridion hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Anier Orlandus in the 31st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Celestino Macario's left hand side. In the 34th minute, Anier Orlandus made a precise shot to the right of Celestino Macario. Bowen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 37th match minute, Bowen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Iaki to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Bowen defense, Anier Orlandus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Macario. The Bowen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Macario should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Paciuszko in the 43rd minute of play forced Bowen's goalkeeper Celestino Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benicio Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Orlandus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benicio Bizi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bowen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Bizi couldn't finish the play. Benicio Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Lorien having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Bowen's goalkeeper Celestino Macario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksawery Paciuszko. Higinio Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Cecilio Lorien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bowen. In the 62nd minute, F.C.XENEIXE's Ksawery Paciuszko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After 68 minutes of play, F.C.XENEIXE's Ksawery Paciuszko made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celestino Macario was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 71 minutes, Benicio Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Bizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Abajas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Higinio Jaunzuria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Lorien having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Anier Orlandus took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Celestino Macario to make any attempt to save it. After 80 minutes, Benicio Bizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bowen and the F.C.XENEIXE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bowen's Benicio Bizi got a free kick in the 80th minute. Celestino Macario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Paciuszko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Benicio Bizi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Cecilio Lorien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Anier Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ksawery Paciuszko in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Macario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lisandro Berto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Celestino Macario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.XENEIXE. Celestino Macario was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anier Orlandus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 91 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bowen's zone, Lisandro Berto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Macario came out of the goal and Lisandro Berto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Paciuszko got free with Celestino Macario in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C.XENEIXE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
