The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Alonzo Adrio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudinei de Mendonça. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After some careless play in the Neild AFC defense, Waldemar Gibowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Ermengol. The Neild AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Ermengol should have stopped the shot. Fidel Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Pitin got free with Claudinei de Mendonça in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Ermengol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Kusko's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Waldemar Gibowski took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Ermengol. Elias Ermengol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of Neild AFC booed when Moreira AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Lluterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Lluterio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Fidel Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neild AFC's Elias Ermengol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Gibowski in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Neild AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rene Pitin hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Gibowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Severiano Eztebe charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Eztebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Neild AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Waldemar Gibowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Ermengol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Neild AFC's zone, Fidel Kusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Ermengol came out of the goal and Fidel Kusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Neild AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rene Pitin hit a great ball. Elias Ermengol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Gibowski's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Moreira AFC played a much better game than Neild AFC and deserved their victory. The Neild AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
