The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Molles's Gavino Gaitano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Artaldo in the 17th minute of play forced Molles's goalkeeper Genaro Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Txaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Gonsalve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Txaran ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximo Bartoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Maximiliano Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Christian Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Saraza's zone, Maximo Bartoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Lico came out of the goal and Maximo Bartoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Macario struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Maximiliano Lico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molles. 27 minutes into the match, Saraza's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Bartoli came free, but Maximiliano Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Bartoli's late challenge caught a Saraza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Bartoli helped the player get up and apologised. When Maximo Bartoli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. Maximo Bartoli kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Braulio Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Braulio Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Braulio Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saraza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Molles getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nemesio Fernendo hit a great ball. Flavio Macario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Lico made a huge save. Flavio Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Macario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximiliano Lico. That made the score 3-1 in the 84 minute of play. With a little luck, Saraza's Maximiliano Lico got control of the ball when Flavio Macario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Gonsalve having to interfere. There was no doubt that Saraza were the better team. Saraza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
