An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Iago in the 5th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO's goalkeeper Romulo Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tablada's Mariano Sarracino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Tablada from getting a goal against them. Remus Tofan struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Mariano Sarracino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO. In the 17th minute of the match Marcial Thomas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romulo Umea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Everardo Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO booed when Tablada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Tablada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Roderigo to maneuver through the defense. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 28th minute, but Mariano Sarracino got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Tablada hanging dry this time. In the 30th minute of the match CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO got a corner. Tablada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herminio Estavan ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Manuel Valerio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Everardo Chaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Umea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Chaime ran back to his position shaking his head. Nemesio Iago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Umea having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Nemesio Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Romulo Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Everardo Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tablada's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Umea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Tablada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Umea was a little too slow when Everardo Chaime got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. Mariano Sarracino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mannuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Manuel Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Valerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Sarracino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romulo Umea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Chaime's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Romulo Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Iago's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Romulo Umea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Iago in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO's goalkeeper Romulo Umea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Tablada's Nemesio Iago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Umea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 minutes, Leonardo Xacintu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tablada and the CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Tablada got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Xacintu. Remus Tofan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Sarracino having to interfere.
