Gilson Bertassi started the match with the kick off. When Evelio Montel fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zanjitas's protests and gave Evelio Montel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Evelio Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Mera, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Zanjitas's Fabian Kauldi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Leonardo Elixio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Anastasio Ondino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Viegas in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, José Viegas made a precise shot to the right of Anastasio Ondino. Tacurales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 22nd match minute, Zanjitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Mirande to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Fernendo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tacurales getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. 肖傲庭 hit a great ball. Anastasio Ondino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zanjitas were furious when Evelio Montel was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 33 minutes into the game, one of Zanjitas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Victor Reynardo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Zanjitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Reynardo couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Zanjitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Viegas to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

José Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When José Viegas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Zanjitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Viegas couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Marko hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Victor Reynardo's late challenge caught a Tacurales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Reynardo helped the player get up and apologised. Zanjitas's Patricio Fernendo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomás Emenon in the 70 minute of the game. Anastasio Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Reynardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The throw-in from Tomás Emenon in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zanjitas's Patricio Fernendo. If Gilson Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Zanjitas got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Mirande. Basilio Mirande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anastasio Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Viegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Ondino having to make a save. A collision led to Tacurales getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tomás Emenon hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zanjitas had won after a very even match.
