A collision led to Acasusso FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Artemio Galsino hit a great ball. Bilgehan Erbelgin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Ubarna having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Herminio Elazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Enrique Timo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Artemio Galsino made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Timo. monterey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Enrique Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Enrique Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Major in the 16th minute of the match. Bilgehan Erbelgin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 33rd play minutes Herminio Elazar shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Enrique Timo and just under the crossbar into goal. Enrique Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Major in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Florian Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, monterey's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Elazar came free, but Enrique Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Morales scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Timo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Hofman was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Acasusso FC's Enrique Timo threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabio Di Crescenzo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Enrique Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. monterey's attentive Rene Bemabe managed to snatch the ball when Tomás Odon made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 75th match minute, monterey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Lop to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Acasusso FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Billvall. Ernst Hofman took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Ubarna. Silvano Ubarna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 83 minutes, Fabio Di Crescenzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acasusso FC and the monterey players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Acasusso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Di Crescenzo to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Elazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Timo came out and tried to block the shot, but Herminio Elazar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, monterey's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Morales came free, but Enrique Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Acasusso FC's Hugo Morales made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Timo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Acasusso FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acasusso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
