Santos Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ricardo Cebo's late challenge caught a Real Bañil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Cebo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Karellen F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Cebo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Real Bañil FC's zone, Angel Frichoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Segio came out of the goal and Angel Frichoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Iraitz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Tristan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Valentin Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karellen F.C.'s protests and gave Valentin Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Cheche hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Justino Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Iraitz in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Angel Frichoso made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Tristan having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Honorio Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justino Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Iraitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Jonatan Tristan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Real Bañil FC's Ildefonso Blasco was substituted for Gregorio Lartaun. Real Bañil FC's Mervin Ulrich was substituted for Justino Iraitz. Mervin Ulrich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jonatan Tristan made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Cosme Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Karellen F.C. defense, Mervin Ulrich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Tristan. The Karellen F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Tristan should have stopped the shot. Karellen F.C.'s Jonatan Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Neron in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Mervin Ulrich dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Tristan, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Real Bañil FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karellen F.C..
