An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Chale in the 3rd minute of play forced Estrella Roja FC's goalkeeper Efrain Bladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Dimo in the 7th minute of play forced Hunter FC's goalkeeper Andres Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Artaldo's late challenge caught a Hunter FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Artaldo helped the player get up and apologised. Luciano Artaldo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Leon Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Efrain Bladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Dionisio Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Berart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Efrain Bladi made a huge save. Baiarte Villafaña hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Hunter FC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Demario. 30 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Chale came free, but Efrain Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Estrella Roja FC! Dionisio Chale shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 34 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Chale came free, but Efrain Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estrella Roja FC's Fidel Stanislao got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Chale in the 35th minute of play forced Estrella Roja FC's goalkeeper Efrain Bladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estrella Roja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baiarte Villafaña was slow to take the kick. During this time Hunter FC's players had a chance to rest. Fidel Stanislao tried in the 37th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Efrain Bladi a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. In the 44th match minute, Hunter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Eguerdi to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Bernardino Birila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andres Vergaray showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Dimo to make the kick off. Dionisio Chale might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Bladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Chale ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Estrella Roja FC's Serafin Olo got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes, Hunter FC's Baiarte Villafaña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Efrain Bladi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hunter FC reached it. 67 minutes into the match, Dionisio Chale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Bladi. Estrella Roja FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Chale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 73rd minute, Leon Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hunter FC made a substitution. Celestino Rami replaced Silvestre Gamus. After 74 played minutes Hunter FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Berart. Celestino Rami made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Estrella Roja FC's Antonio Llin. Hunter FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Braulio Dimo 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Leon Berart took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Bladi. Efrain Bladi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Dionisio Chale charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Chale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Estrella Roja FC booed when Hunter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Andres Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
