Heiko Alferink who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Godfredo Lordi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Heiko Alferink had several of the Clason AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Godfredo Lordi as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Godfredo Lordi managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Palomar United's Heiko Alferink fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Palomar United's Heiko Alferink in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clason AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute, Anselmo Cresitobalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes, Hermengildo Erruki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clason AFC and the Palomar United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arsenio Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Godfredo Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Heiko Alferink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clason AFC's Godfredo Lordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermengildo Erruki hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Godfredo Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heiko Alferink in the 38th minute. Leonardo Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Matuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Arsenio Montay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heiko Alferink made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Ricardo Deunoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palomar United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 64th minute, Radomil Matuch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Montay in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Lüdi in the 72nd minute of play forced Clason AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Clason AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cresitobalo. 77 minutes into the match, Palomar United's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Matuch came free, but Leonardo Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Nicasio Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiko Alferink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Goizeder's late challenge caught a Palomar United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Goizeder helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Palomar United booed when Clason AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Goizeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Palomar United's Ricardo Deunoro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clason AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Godfredo Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Alferink in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palomar United fully deserved thier win.
