The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Oxel was the one to do the kick off. Ceferino Matthew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Heráclito Fobal Clú's goalkeeper Ulises Telo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Fernandez in the 64th minute of play forced Heráclito Fobal Clú's goalkeeper Ulises Telo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Silvio Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Remigio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ceferino Matthew struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ulises Telo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce AFC. In the 90th minute, Vinicio Regis made a precise shot to the right of Ulises Telo. Heráclito Fobal Clú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Venancio Eudoxio made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Santos Urdaspal sent off a good shot on target. Heráclito Fobal Clú were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Sauce AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Oxel took the corner. Heráclito Fobal Clú's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
